Foundations of Decentralized Systems

The goal of this course is to introduce the students to the basic algorithmic and cryptographic tools of decentralized systems. We will investigate:

- Distributed Consensus
- Blockchains and Bitcoin
- Private Communications

Target group: CS-track

Prerequisites: Discrete mathematics

Evaluation: Exam, in class participation, presentations

Teaching format: Lectures/student presentation
