This course focuses on how NMR spectroscopy provides insights into dynamics, and how NMR spin relaxation is linked to molecular motion.
Participants will understand the physical principles that link NMR observables and molecular dynamics on multiple time scales, including spin relaxation, line shapes and relaxation-dispersion methods.

The course content will be adapted to some extent to the participants' needs and interest.

Target group: structural biologists and chemists with basic knowledge in NMR

Prerequisites: Basic understanding of NMR, including its quantum-mechanical nature.

Evaluation: Final exam

Teaching format: Lectures, practical work on the spectrometer, recitations (going through exercises, calculations)
