Scientific posters are a powerful way to showcase your work, but without a strong pitch, even the best-designed poster can be overlooked. In this 3-hour interactive online workshop, you will learn how to communicate complex ideas in a concise and compelling way. From structure and storytelling to keeping your audience engaged, you'll gain the tools to speak with clarity, confidence, and impact. About the trainer: Marloes ten Kate is a presentation coach, storytelling-expert and former science journalist. She trains scientists and technical experts to deliver impactful presentations. She is the founder of Take the Stage and co-founder of Scientific Storytelling, where she trains scientists in the art of telling a comprehensible and captivating story. Marloes has extensive experience as a science journalist and presenter on Dutch public radio and television. As a lecturer at the technical university in Delft, she teaches students the skills of presenting. Over the years she has trained hundreds of (international) speakers on how to prepare and deliver effective and appealing presentations. [Zoom link will be shared with registered participants immediately before the workshop].
