The objective of the 1-day bootcamp is to provide students with an understanding of the information that is stored in an image and relate these to image analysis fundamentals. Aimed Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs):
(1) will be able to correctly understand the information & meta-data available in an image;
(2) will be able to effectively understand concepts of basic image processing steps to extract information from images;
(3) will have the opportunity to work on own data in 1-on-1 sessions, to get familiar with aspects of qualitative image analysis;

Target group: Life Science Students that use microscopy-based image data: the course will provide a fundamental basis on how to extract information from the acquired data and start image analysis exploration, with the goal to connect image acquisition (data capture) with image analysis (data processing and analysis).
