This one-day workshop will teach students the basics of time management. How do I structure a day? A month? A year? A PhD project? How do I prioritize? What can I do against procrastination? How can my planning become sufficiently realistic? About the trainer: Dr. Andrea Tschirf has been a trainer and coach for scientists for almost two decades. Target group: Students and junior postdocs who struggle with time management, over-committing, and struggle to use their time efficiently. [This course counts towards the Essential Skills Requirement for PhD Students (2022 cohort and onwards)].

Prerequisites: None.

Evaluation: Students will have to hand in a written assignment describing what they took a way from the workshop as well as additional reading material and make actual plans.
