The course provides a foundation for students and postdocs interested in founding, running or joining a biomedical startup. Students will receive training in areas such as business model development, market assessment, IP and patents, hiring, and financing. The course consists of several sessions beginning in April 2025. Target group: Students and postdocs with interest and motivation to found or work with a biotech startup. [This course counts towards the Essential Skills requirement for PhD students -- 2022 cohort and onwards].

Evaluation: Attendance, final presentation.
Teaching format: Lectures, guest presentations, project work.
