The course will provide a foundation for students and post docs interested in founding, running or joining a biomedical startup. It is organized jointly with the Medical University Vienna, University Vienna and CeMM. Students will receive training in areas such as business model development, market assessment, pre-clinical data analysis, IP, hiring, and financing. The course consists of eight 3-hour sessions (4-7pm) every other Thursday starting in May (exact course dates TBD), plus intermittent one-on-one exchange between instructors and students in office hours.
