Experimental Design and Statistical Analysis for Life Scientists

Statistics for Life Sciences gives an introduction into experimental design and important statistical test procedures, both providing conceptual background (during lectures) and hands-on guide for running the statistical tests in R (during recitations and homework).

Target group: The course is meant for experimentalists in biological research.

Prerequisites: at least basic knowldedge in R (eg R intro first semester)

Evaluation: regular assignments and final presentation

Teaching format: lectures, recitations, homework, final oral presentation
