Effective communication is one of the best tools in one's arsenal. It reduces the amount of effort and time required to convey thoughts. And it makes a big difference in how the conveyed thoughts are received. The ability to communicate well can be the biggest advantage one has and similarly its absence can be the biggest hurdle. Good communication is a form of art. It takes a long time and a lot of practice to perfect. The best way to hone these skills is through observing and learning from numerous examples of pieces of communication from oneself and others.
This course will teach spotting the good and the bad practices in communication techniques. After learning why a piece of communication works so well or why it doesn't, one can pinpoint the techniques that worked well and more importantly, the reasons they worked. The concepts learnt in this course will help the participants to continually learn effective communication in their careers.
