Science literacy for all is a key factor for the thriving of humanity in the present and the future. Today's challenges like climate change or pandemics evolve fast, but educational systems tend to be slow adapters. To improve science education, we need new ideas and actors in the field. The Science Education Innovation Lab offers a space for development of innovative ideas and provides input from different experts and stakeholders in the field of science education (among them inclusive science education, digital science education, science education policy). As a participant, you will achieve a better understanding of innovative projects and challenges in education, and you will receive support to explore your own ideas for educational projects, no matter if you are thinking to realize them or if you just like to dream. Also, you will get to know the science education team of ISTA and learn about possibilities to do projects right here.

Target group: PhD students of all fields with an interest in education who share our believe that we need creative ideas how to improve science education of any kind. Postdocs and other ISTA people are welcome too.
